Josh Brewster
Editor/Producer/Host

Josh Brewster founded the Western Hockey Network in 2000, producing all-hockey radio programming as well as print media, covering the world's greatest game from Southern California.

Since 2006, Brewster has served as the host of "Duck Calls," the Anaheim Ducks postgame radio show after road games on AM830 (KLAA) in SoCal. He also appears as a weekly guest commentator on Sirius/XM Satellite Radio Home Ice.

Duck Calls is the only hockey program in Southern California that gives fans a regular opportunity to speak with leading figures from the world’s fastest game.

He also serves as fill-in color commentator for Ducks' radio and has called the action from Phoenix with longtime Ducks’ radio man Steve Carroll.

In February 2011, Josh provided color commentary on TV for Fox College Sports' coverage of the 2011 World University Games, calling the action for Team USA Men's and Women's ice hockey.

Josh is also the producer of the groundbreaking web radio series, "Hockeytalk Audio Features," available for listening at www.hockeytalk.biz. His first program, “The Western Hockey Radio Show” was the first live internet hockey radio show in history. Shortly after, he produced “Power Play” on CRN Digital Talk.

Brewster has also served as a correspondent for NHL.com, covering the Ducks and Kings, and had the pleasure of reporting from backstage at The Tonight Show following the 2010 Stanley Cup champion Blackhawks’ appearance. His hockey writing has also been featured in The Hockey News and Hockey Digest, and he has reported for Hockeytalk from the NHL Draft and NHL Awards.

Josh's career is featured in the book Living the Hockey Dream by Brian Kennedy (Folklore Pub., Canada 2009).

A 20-plus year veteran radio and voiceover personality, Brewster has been heard narrating television series for Animal Planet and USA Network, as well as dozens of radio and TV commercials across America.

He lives with his wife, Catherine, and his sons, Brent and Shane, in Los Angeles.
